What this is, and what it is not
The Foundation is free, open and self-paced, and completion is self-declared — nothing stops anyone ticking eight boxes. So this certificate is honest about what it records: that you worked through eight lessons. It is a record of study.
It is not an accredited qualification, and it does not certify that you can value, authenticate or trade precious metals. That claim needs an examiner, and the examined credential is the Professional Diploma — twelve modules, a practice portfolio and a recorded oral viva.
We would rather give you something modest and true than something impressive and hollow. The whole Foundation is built on that principle; the certificate should be too.
